# Trading

> Bounded orders, actual fills and honest lifecycle reporting.

An [order](/api/methods/order) specifies signed lots, execution-price bounds, fee cap per lot, time-in-force and financial expiry. GTC, add-liquidity-only (ALO) and bounded immediate-or-cancel (IOC) are supported. IOC is not an unbounded market-order or full-fill guarantee.

Actual attributed fills change positions and entry basis. Partial fills, repeated entries, reductions and reversals differ from admission and acknowledgement. Funding recognition, settlement and fees are separate postings.

Private reduce-only constrains your position, not simply the venue's net position. A [cancel](/api/methods/cancel) can race a fill. After timeout, reconnect and [query the original operation](/api/methods/operation); do not create a new economic ID.

Select leverage up to the governed market cap. This does not create native isolated margin. Server-side stops, TP/SL, batch and atomic replacement are outside this interface.
