# Lifecycle and reconciliation

> Durable acceptance, venue acknowledgement and final economics are distinct.

| outcome | Meaning |
| - | - |
| rejected | Recorded intent was not admitted |
| accepted | Durable intent/reservations; not external execution |
| dispatched | Signature/action may have escaped |
| acknowledged | External acknowledgement; not fill completion |
| partial | Actual attributed fill or beneficiary payment progress |
| complete | Terminal state for that operation's semantics; does not mean every requested lot filled |
| unknown | Exposure/outcome requires reconciliation |

Receipts include `id`, immutable intent `digest`, `policy`, `outcome`, signed actual `filled` lots, beneficiary `paid`, charged payout `railFees`, declared `feeCap`, `possiblyExposed` and `allowPartial`. Fields unrelated to the command are zero/false; these are not portfolio totals. For orders, feeCap is absolute requested lots × fee-per-lot, not actual fees. For payouts it is the extra rail-fee cap.

Grant/revoke/leverage can complete locally. Cancel receipts do not substitute for the original order's reconciled terminal evidence. Funding settlement is not a second funding earning.

On timeout/disconnect: retain original ID and exact economics, freshly attest, sign with current authority and query that ID. Retry only when qualified evidence permits it; there is no automatic retry. Same ID with changed economics conflicts. A new transport correlation number does not create a new order or payout.
